If you had a nickel for everything the French gave us, you'd have at least 35 cents, all of which you're going to spend on delicious pate. Well, buy yourself another nickel's worth, thanks to clothes from Façonnable.
Founded by a venerable French designer who cut his teeth crafting evening wear for actors attending Cannes, Façonnable just opened its first ATL store, offering fancy fashions and apparel for the entire body, including shirts, pants, jackets, vests, shoes, ties, and cologne, which apparently isn't available in France. Kicking off with shirts, they've got a gang of vertically striped cotton button-downs like the relaxed Classic Fit (in blue/pink, brown/white, gray/white), and the leaner Trend Fit, with double-button barrel cuffs, also available in "Sport" trim that gets a spread collar and ; there're also slim-fitting short-sleeves, like the Trend Fit Gingham Check w/ straight collar & mother-of-pearl buttons, and the Half Zip purple mock sweater made with Merino wool, regarded as the softest, most gentle in the world -- also how you describe Anthony Merino, if you're 92 years old, and dead. Jackets range from casual offerings like the olive brown Quilted Parka (w/ nylon lining & all over diagonal quilting), to the dressier-casual, navy Two Button Wool Doeskin Sportcoat, w/ a goatskin leather-lined undercollar, notched lapel & front flap pockets; if you prudishly require pants, they've got denim like the Classic Five Pocket Stretch Jean, made from subtly faded cotton/elastine, plus slacks like the flat-front, Italian cotton "Butter" Twill -- so smooth, you'll never wear a pair of Criscos again.
Faç's also got a wide selection of silk ties, leather shoes, stainless steel watches, and a cologne, with hints of mandarin orange, rose, geranium, and mint -- the very treat you'd mask pate-breath with, if only the French would give you one more thing.
